Jamband news/reviews super-site 'Jambands.com' has anointed 'The Weight' as it's Fan Site of The Month for August 2008. To give this recognition some context, The Weightstaff have been avid readers of Jambands.com for many years, since its inception in 1998. It was one of the first sites to exclusively funnel news and content related to improvisational/live music in the post-Grateful Dead world. So we were rightfully very excited to be contacted by the site's editor Dean Budnick offering us this feature. Thanks also to Jambands.com contributor and blogger Mike Greenhaus for the nod.
