At the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, on March 1st, 1975, Paul Simon presented the Record of the Year Award with John Lennon. You'll be very surprised to see who the award is presented to.

bizarr-o, i imagine most of these guys were pretty blazed/stoned while attending these things. but from the canned jokes, to the production value, to the hair (or lack there of and facial) to the Friggin winners? really...Olivia Newton John over Elton John's "dont let the sun" come on...that is just bizarre. 1975, officially the first cracks appear in what would be the collapse of rock and roll. one could argue the landscape lay fallow for 20 years...with very few exceptions.

But totally agree -- I felt the same way when watching this clip. Now it's like: Keisha, Fergie, Justin Bieber, Chris Brown. VOMIT!!!
