The Weight Presents: The Lynx

B.B. King is releasing a new album, his 24th, on August 26th, featuring the songs that influenced him back in the 1950s. It is titled 'One Kind Favor', a reference to a Blind Lemon Jefferson song that Widespread Panic has covered since 1997. The track does not appear on the album though.

Fleetwood Mac is set to tour in early 2009 for the first time since 2004. Despite the rumors started by Sheryl Crow herself a few months back, she will not be joining the band on this tour.

Oasis was allowed to record parts of their new album at Abbey Road Studios despite being told they were no longer welcome there after "blasting out Beatles records at four in the morning" and "doing loads of drugs" during their 'Be Here Now' sessions in October 1996.

The Bernard Shakey directed "CSNY: Deja Vu", a documentary chronicling the anti-war themed Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young 2006 tour, premieres in theaters this Friday.
