The Weight Presents: The Lynx ft. Rick Rubin

Rick Rubin is set to produce the new ZZ Top album. According to the band's manager, Carl Stubner, the new album "would recall the one-chord blues of ZZ Top's 1973 hit La Grange, rather than the glossy hard-rock the band is now known for."

Rick Rubin is set to produce a new covers album by Crosby, Stills, and Nash. Stephen Stills has stated that Rubin wants the band to make "an album of all the songs we love, all the songs we wish we've written."

Rick Rubin is set to produce a track on the new Clipse album, their third.

Rick Rubin is set to produce the new Avett Brothers album, having signed the bluegrass punk band to his American Recordings label. Their longtime manager Dolph Ramseur states, "...it wasn't until we talked with Rick Rubin at American/Columbia, that we heard anybody talk about the band in musical terms. This wasn't American Idol."

Rick Rubin already produced Jakob Dylan's new album.
