Thus we are returning to an even more spectacular setting this summer with newly reseeded fields, a refurbished ‘Casino’ building, and many more infrastructure improvements. The park has never looked so fine, and legendary showman PT Barnum, who donated the space to the city of Bridgeport in 1875, would be proud. We think he would be equally impressed with the lively, fun-filled, colorful event we joyfully conspire to host there.
One big change over the 1999-2000 Gatherings at Seaside Park is a feature we've all come to love in recent years: YES, there will be car-side camping! Along with flush toilets, showers, playgrounds, a skate park, and over a mile of pristine beach within a short walk, this is shaping up to be the ideal space for our annual 'family reunion.' We look forward to seeing you there - it truly wouldn't be the same without you!
